Started a new Erasmus+ KA2 project MEME
October 2019 started a new Erasmus+ KA2 project “MEME: Me and the Media – Fostering Social Media Literacy Competences through Interactive Learning Sets for Adults with Disabilities” in the field of adult education. The project is coordinated by IMOTEC and the kick-off meeting already took place 28-29th October in Vilnius.
The project brought together seven organisations from Austria, Italy, Lithuania and Portugal who next 24 months will investigate and exploit the potential of disabled people to represent themselves in media. The project’ focusses on social media skills which have a direct relation to young adults with disabilities better social inclusion and capacity to tackle discrimination, segregation and cyberbullying while representing themselves on media.
IMOTEC is happy to take responsibility to coordinate the project, to take active part in all related activities and to lead the dedicated mobile game development.
